We’re excited to bring you English subs for the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club’s first live events, ODAIBA TOKIMEKI Stage and School Matching Festival! Watching NijiGaku’s first performances is a great way to see how their rainbow started to bloom.
- ODAIBA TOKIMEKI Stage was held in November 2018 to commemorate the release of the TOKIMEKI Runners album. It features NijiGaku’s very first live performance of their signature song “TOKIMEKI Runners”.
- School Matching Festival was held in March 2019, and was NijiGaku’s first major event. It features the first live performances of every solo song on the TOKIMEKI Runners album, as well as substantial talk segments and a special animated drama.
- We’ve also translated the “Behind the Scenes” video for School Matching Festival, which includes exclusive backstage footage and a close-up view of the live experience.
From all of us at ONIBE, we wish the best for you and your family in these trying times. Hopefully spending time with NijiGaku will brighten up your day!

FAQ
Will you release standalone subtitle files so I can use them with my existing files?
Download them here!
Disclaimer: These files were timed directly to our own encode. Every release is a little different, so it’s possible that our subs might not line up perfectly with other releases. We will not be providing any support to re-time them.
Can I have your permission to use your subtitle files to re-translate into another language?
Absolutely! Just make sure to give credit where appropriate.
I can’t open the video.
If you are having issues playing the video, please try renaming the file to make the name shorter, or move it to a folder that’s less deep.
If you cannot rename the file, move it to the root of your drive (C:, D:, etc.) and then you can rename it there.
The reason is that Windows often has problems with files with names that are too long. Unfortunately, the title of the Blu-ray itself is particularly long. (Thanks, Love Live! staff…)
I still see weird video or subtitle issues.
Try a different video player; we recommend MPV/VLC.
We test our release with the most common video players, but sometimes there are still compatibility issues.
What about the TOKIMEKI Relay footage that is also on the Blooming Rainbow Blu-ray?
We do not plan to translate or distribute it.
